Research on Bone marrow and adipose tissue derived stem cells focuses on Isolation, culturing and differentiation of these stem cells in to various lineages. Research also includes transdifferentiation studies and characterization of HSC, MSC, SP, EP and other pluripotent markers using FACS.
3. Research on Sorting of stem cells using FACS and MACS:
Cell sorting of various stem cell and ALDH positive cells is being carried out using FACS and MACS for comparitive analysis. Sorting of lymphocytes and monocyte population has been carried out and recently published in " Biology and Medicine".
